strawberry & cream jewellery pieces are made out of semi-precious stones,
e.g. rose quartz, smoked quartz, onyx, howlith, mother of pearl, sea shells, hand-made
glass pearls, glass-ground ceramic - or silver beads, swarovski® crystal beads and high-quality synthetic pieces.
most metal parts are made of 925 sterling silver. the pieces of the gold collection have been gold plated. many pieces of our collection are silver plated, others are made of nickel-free metal alloy. all silver chains and bracelets are produced in german silver factories, where they also get refined by an additional silver plating plus a special bathing process to prevent discolouration and tarnishing. we recommend not to let the bracelets, chains and pendants come into contact with perfume or cream or lotion, and also not to wear them while showering or bathing. most pieces can be cleaned with a soft cloth. please never use cleaning agents, the stones and crystals would lose their brightness. should the silver chains, connecting pieces, the pearls or pendants tarnish, please polish them gently with a special silver polishing cloth. the pieces will be very beautiful again! in accordance with the requirements and standards of german law, we must make you aware of the risk that smaller pieces of the jewellery or parts of the jewellery could be swallowed by children younger than three years when given to them. we would like to advise you, that the handmade pearl bracelets, chains and pendants are not tear proof beyond all limits. of course they are flexible enough for everyday use and regular wearing, but please be careful when you stretch them more than usual. of course, we are happy to fix our jewellery for you, in case something should break! we try to consider all your special wishes regarding the colouring and size of stones and pearls. just let us know which combination you would like to have. but please understand, that your dream combination might not be available, because styles of pearls and stones vary with season. have lots of fun while browsing through our collection! constanze kponton and the strawberry & cream® team |
